Tears is a prequel to the Thornton Brothers and occurs two years before Touched, the first book in the series. It follows Isabel and her involvement in the tragic events that resulted in Gabe spinning out of control.
Although it is best read after Tempted, book two in the series, it can be enjoyed at any stage and can be used as a starting point into the Thornton world.
